Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures, defined by the US Federal Government with the abbreviation TSCM, includes a series of activities carried out by highly qualified personnel to identify, in a specific environment, any type of devices suitable for fetching and transmitting information (audio, video, and data) unlawfully.

A TSCM service must be carried out by highly specialized personnel with a high level of preparation in the field of radio-frequency and radio-transmission.
